Still, while he may have mastered his fighting skills, Peter still struggles to balance his personal life and his life as a crime-fighter. The book leads directly into the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man, first introducing Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, as he returns to New York, only this time he’s built himself a pretty sturdy reputation as an altruistic entrepreneur and philanthropist. The middle section of the game is filled with many similar side quests, which help the player take a break after very tense moments. Following this mission, one of the most enjoyable missions of the game occurs. You can change the abilities from the “Abilities” Menu at any time for Miles. The easiest option for Miles is to play Mysteriums as they have lots of enemies.
These reflective moments deepen not only the game’s stand-out side content, but also its larger plot. Other big fixes include fixing a crash that happened while quitting Spider-Man 2 too quickly after starting it and another that involved a crash that would happen on quadcore processors after turning ray tracing on. It’s already a great-looking game, though now that it is on PC, players will likely want to push Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to its limits. This new update works to make this possible, with another fix addressing an annoying issue with brightness, contrast, and other visual effects that caused them to reset. On the whole it’s a tried and true set-up for a Spider-Man story—the perils of leading a double life, making sacrifices to do the right thing, all that jazz. But that does also mean it’s a story we’ve seen an awful lot of times before, not only across films, TV, and comics, but also in the previous two games in this series. Each game in the series has a main villain that is set up early in the game, and persists to the end.
Every fragment pieces Marko’s humanity back together, with sound clips illustrating the pain he’s endured over the years. Obviously, since the game hasn’t come out yet, we can’t give you a summary of Spider-Man 2 (we also wouldn’t want to spoil your next adventure). The mid-credits scene reveals that Harry is to be released from his stasis pod, even though his health is still unstable.
It’s a great starting point that sends the city’s hero and villain dynamic into flux as he sets his sights on the biggest prey possible. The previous games were highly adored for accurate web swinging for traversal, and now with the addition of the Web Wings, exploration should be a lot more unique and even quicker without the need to swing all the time.

Marvel University talks to leading experts to explore the realism behind the characters and storylines from the Marvel Universe. Rewards for completing these various activities vary, with some ranging from genuinely exciting story teases for what’s to come, to simply gaining some tech parts to upgrade your abilities with. The tasks are often so mundane and repetitive, however, that I did frequently question whether these small, congratulatory nuggets were worth the slog they too often turned out to be.
That’s not to say there aren’t benefits to taking a sneaky route, though, especially when you’re playing as Miles and using his invisibility power to quietly take out enemies. There are many perch takedown possibilities offered and new toys to play with too, such as the Web Line, which allows you to create your own highwires over your enemies to prey on them from above. It’s a fun tool that allows you to reshape the tightly designed arenas into a battlefield more in your favour, and in doing so, redecorate the room with web-wrapped people piñatas. On the other hand, much like combat, stealth isn’t a far cry from the many warehouse encounters you’ll have played in the previous games, as you clear out enemies using largely the same techniques. If you’re a fan of Peter Parker, Miles Morales and the entire Marvel’s Spider-Man video game lore, then you’ve likely been waiting for this moment ever since you finished playing the previous games in the franchise. Or perhaps you haven’t gone web-slinging through New York City and now that you have a PS5, you’re ready to pull down the Spidey mask and help protect New York City?

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features a total of 32 main story missions that has you play as both Miles and Peter as they protect New York from various threats old and new, including the ferocious symbiote, Venom. With options like raytracing and ultra-wide support, we want to give players the chance to make full use of their high-end PC gaming rigs. Much later in the game, Peter (and a wildly souped-up Harry Osborn) spring Tombstone from Kraven’s henchmen. But after defeating him, Miles and Peter learn that Marko’s haunted by memories of his daughter. You’ll literally collect these scattered memories across random alleys or atop skyscrapers in the boroughs of the city.
This Spider-Bot, JJJ, can be found close to the Northern border of Greenwich. On the map screen, locate the building that looks like a chevron arrow pointing South-West (called Glam). You’ll be looking for a building to the North-East of it on the corner of an intersection, close to where a wind tunnel snakes around to the North. The Spider-Bot will be crawling near the top of the South-Eastern wall. Collecting them all will unlock a cool and unique quest you don’t want to miss, which you can read about at the bottom of this page.
